Everyone wants to put ringtones on their phone, and one of the most popular things to do is to assign a real mp3 song as a ringtone. If you want to assign an mp3 as ringtone for your PPC 6700 power pc cell phone - here's how to get it done:
1. Sync the phone with your pc
2. Click EXPLORE
3. select MY WINDOWS MOBILE BASED DIVICE
4. select APLICATION DATA
This phone is sold through both Verizon as the VX-6700 (VX 6700) and the Sprint PCS PPC-6700 (PPC6700), and it's a Pocket PC with Windows Mobile 5.0 installed. I read that it was the first phone with Windows Mobile 5. It has a mini SD flash slot on the top, an extra large screen (for a smartphone), a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, and it even has wi-fi and bluetooth! You think you've seen it all, until you slide back the bottom to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard!! The screen goes landscape or portrait depdending on whether the keyboard is pulled out or not.
We just got this phone brand new - so this is a brand new guide. We'll add to it as we learn about the phone! I'll add things we learn, and also round up all the tips and tricks I can from all over the web!
